BY GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK x LA CASERNE

SEPTEMBER 23-26

Climate change, loss of biodiversity, economic inequalities, information war – we were already asking ourselves a lot of questions about our ways of living, playing, working, making love. Then 2020 fell on us with its pandemic cocktail, anti-racist mobilizations and questioning of democracy. Are you feeling helpless? U.S. too.

Yet it is in the face of adversity and crisis that living beings innovate and cooperate the most. It's time to deconstruct and rebuild together. Let's deconstruct our old ways of thinking. Let's rebuild new ways of doing and sharing. Because our personal well-being goes hand in hand with strong communities and a healthy planet.

We dream of a future based on regeneration, circular economy, low-tech, solidarity and equality. Whether you believe in green growth or collapse, we need a common roadmap – a roadmap that we will put together and that will bring us together.

SEPTEMBER 24-26

Climate change, loss of biodiversity, economic inequalities, information warfare : a lot of questions were already asked about the way we live, play, work, make love. And then 2020 came along with its cocktail of pandemics, anti-racist demonstrations and reappraisal of democracy. Do you feel helpless ? So do we.

However, it is in front of adversity and crisis that living beings innovate and cooperate the most. It is time to deconstruct in order to rebuild together. Let’s deconstruct our old way of thinking. Let’s rebuild new ways of doing and sharing, because our personal well-being goes hand in hand with robust communities and a healthy planet.

We dream of a future based on regeneration, circular economy, low-techs, solidarity and equality. So whether you believe in green growth or global collapse, we need a common roadmap - one we will elaborate together and that will bring us together.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER, 25
WELL-BEING & ECO-RESPONSABILITY

DAY / 12:00-18:00

How can we deconstruct our ways of thinking to be better allies and, together, be actors of environmental and social justice? Our actions are interconnected at every scales. How can we face our own conditioning, despite the uncomfortable reality?

Capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism - so many systems of domination which are no longer sustainable. We know this, but what do we do? What world do we want for tomorrow and how are we going to build it? How do we incorporate regeneration?

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER, 26
PLANET / FASHION & BEAUTY

DAY / 12:00-18:00

Climate change, loss of biodiversity, pollution, plastic in the oceans... How do we keep hope for the future of the planet? One solution is not to forget the many beautiful initiatives! For example, at the international scale: China is aiming for net-0 carbon by 2060, the United Kingdom by 2050, Biden has (re-)joined the Paris agreements, social and environmental justice movements are joining forces, and youth are mobilizing en masse.

How can we better know the global impact of our entire production chain, from the choice of materials to the use by consumers? What are the trends in ethical fashion (sharing, renting, recycled fibers, and many others)? What does "Made In" really mean? We celebrate new business models, the transition to more circularity and a diversity of designers and social entrepreneurs at the forefront of innovation.
